Contact QR Codes

Create a QR code that saves your name, phone, and email to a phone's contacts

What are Contact QR Codes?

A contact QR code stores your details in vCard format, the standard phones use for contacts. Scanning it opens the contact app with name, phone, email, and company filled in — the other person taps Save and has your details without typing anything.

Common uses

  • • Sharing your number with someone you just met, without dictating it
  • • A sticker on a laptop or phone case for conferences
  • • Lost-item tags: a scan shows how to reach you
  • • The back of a printed business card

Note: For advanced business cards with company details, logos, and multiple contact methods, use ourBusiness Card QR codes.

Contact vs Business Card QR Codes

Contact QR Codes

  • Four fields: name, phone, email, company
  • Coarser pattern — scans well at small print sizes
  • Quick to fill in
  • One phone and one email only
  • No title, address, website, or social links

Business Card QR Codes

  • Ten fields, including title, website, and LinkedIn
  • Work and mobile numbers
  • Company and address
  • Role-based templates to start from
  • Denser pattern — needs a bit more print space
